edited for privacy. This is *not* public info and we are not "out" yet so please nothing on FB, etc. - a benefit of the ridiculous testing we did is we know the sexes...at 12w4d (100% sure!).
IUI has a slightly higher rate of boy babies due to the timing and the fact male sperm is a different weight (in micronanos hah), so we decided to find out since we don't have any good boy names.
and
Baby A is a girl
and so is Baby B!
Re: pregnacy update
Emily, lots of love to you, C and your baby girls. Baby girls!
I know that was an intense and agonizing decision and one that you never wanted to make, but thank you for sharing with us and I hope you only receive the love and support that you, C and the little girls need!

Emily, I know this was not an easy decision. I will be thinking of you guys and I'm sure everything will go smoothly and you will bring home two beautiful girls.
Also, I know I said this via email, but Claire is a very nice name. haha!
Hope everyone is as excited as we are to hear the news - do your parents know yet????
We got Bailey a Big Brother teeshirt and showed my parents the ultrasound of the twins last night. We'll make it public after the checkup next week.
Heather, the MFM thinks they're fraternal, but there's about a 10% chance they're ID. They're implanted close together and IDs can be di/di if they split really early (days 1-3 after conception I think).
T&P to all of you! I know you struggled over the decision and as I said once before, the decision you made would be right for your family and nothing can change that. I 100% support the choice you made and think you both are incredibly strong.
Congrats on your girls and I can't wait to hear more about them along the way!
Congratulations on your baby girls! How exciting!
I know you made the best decision for the four of you and will be keeping you all in my thoughts throughout the pregnancy. FWIW, we think that I would be likely to make the same decision if we were ever in the same situation.

thank you all for the support. it really means a lot to me.
Congrats on your girls! T&P to you, C and the babies. I am so sorry you had to make such a difficult decision but I know it was the right one for you guys as a family.
My SIL successfully carried triplets but it was not an easy pregnancy she was on bed rest for a huge chunk of time, they were very luckily born healthy and almost full term.
2 little girls, that is so exciting!!!!
