Good thoughts: To Sarah, your cousin & her boyfriend's family - they are all in my thoughts and prayers.
Good thoughts: to my friend Lori, waking up on her first day after Sofie's funeral. May she do whatever she needs to do to get through each day. And I hope that over time we get to see her beautiful smile again.
Good thoughts: to all of you for all of your needs, be they health, money, babies, pregnancy, TTC, whatever you may need I wish you all the best.
Confession: I'm spending too much money on a gift for Sofie's parents. But I can't help it.
Confession: I need to work this week but I'm tired and secretly hoping that he doesn't have much for me. I really hope this job turns into something permanent/salaried where I can have some daytime hours to work while the kids are in daycare. Burning the candle at both ends is getting exhausting.

Confession: MIL has my laundry basket. Since the beginning of January. January!! I have asked for it back several times. She hasn't emptied it. Now, I don't really need it (it doesn't fit in my closet or bathroom), but that's not the point. How lazy are you that you can't take your stuff out of a laundry basket when you have been asked to return it?
Confession: ILs are leaving for two weeks today. I could not be happier. Party at my house!!

Confession: Karen's confession about MIL and the laundry basket made me laugh, as did her second one about them leaving for two weeks! Enjoy the time to yourself!! And go empty out that laundry basket yourself while she's gone!
Good thoughts: to my aunt; if her next two chemo treatments don't show results, the doctor said the next step is hospice. Praying for a miracle. She is too young, and her 3 boys need her; they lost their father 20 years ago so it's not fair that they may lose their mom way too soon as well. I also am so scared at what this is going to do to my mom - it's her little sister, and they are very close so I know it is going to be hard on her. Cancer sucks.

I'm sorry so many of you are having difficult times right now. I am sending hugs and good thoughts to everyone!
My confession is that I'm scared sh!tless to have this baby. Not the labor part, the actual being-someone's-mom part.
I'm also really irritated with my company. I presented my proposal for handling my maternity leave, which I thought was very reasonable, two weeks ago. They were supposed to get back to me last week, then yesterday...still no word. I know they're not going to give me what I'm asking for (working part time from home, unless there's an important meeting, after my STDI runs out at Week 6 until Week 12 - we're too small for FMLA so they would like to give me 8 weeks, period). It pisses me off that a small, woman-owned company can be so flexible with the existing mothers but not with me. So instead of being available for questions, etc. during leave, I'd like to turn in my BB and laptop and not speak to anyone until the 8 weeks is up.
Whew, sorry for the long rant. I know I'm lucky to have a job at all and to have a baby on the way.
It took 5 failed IUIs and a failed IVF, but our FET worked!

hahaha! me too ;-) Heck the TV is watching my children right now while I try to frantically get some work done in an emergency case. Classic. None of us are perfect, and the one that tells you they know what they are doing is LYING ;-)

confession: while it is good to have a temp gig, being on my feet for most of the day doing really boring, tedious tasks and not having internet access was really annoying and exhausting. i think i might actually be disappointed if this gig gets extended past next wednesday.
