Coming out of lurking...business owners, come in.

If you've incorporated your business, where did you go?  Did you use a full service site?

I'm a little lost in this process.

  • Hi,

I'm not a business owner but I am an accountant who takes part in getting businesses set up. A full service agency is not necessary, all you need is a lawyer and an accountant. I recommend talking to an accountant first because they can recommend share structures that will result in the biggest tax benefit. At that point, instructions just need to be provided to the lawyer.

Ditto this! My husband works setting up and financially planning for corps and he gets so frustrated when he sees the types of share structures, etc set up without consulting an accountant of financial professional first...and that doesn't mean a book keeper :) lol An actual accountant who deals with corps. Good luck.
