halp, i'm falling asleep...
my god daughter, cute as she is, is exhausting. not only have i had her to play with (and wake me at all hours of the morning!), yesterday i visited another friend and her baby. i was like "2 babies in a week, whew, that is a lot of baby!"
cut to: me getting to work today, being told i needed to model for a photo shoot...and the other person i modeled with? a 1 month old beautiful little baby. i didn't want to put her down, even after she threw up all over me.
is this a sign?
and can someone entertain me so i don't fall asleep?? kthanks.
Re: halp, i'm falling asleep...
Yes, it's a sign, just not sure of what. Perhaps that you want kids, just not ready yet? I'm kind of in the same boat.
Went to a kiddie bday party Saturday and saw my bestie and her 10 month old. Held him the ENTIRE time. He's so mellow, laid back and OMFG, adorable!!!!!! 3 teeth in, dimples in both cheeks, blonde and blue-eyed sweet pea. He likes to dance to Lady Gaga and BritBrit by moving his head from side to side. I almost stole him, but bestie would kill me. DH even commented multiple times how cute he is. So we are contemplating jumping on the baby train.
Then cake and ice cream were served and all hell broke loose. 10 kids aged 5 and under all hopped up on sugar... We left the party mere moments later.

Well, this is mildly entertaining, and baby-related. I was at the mall with my mom yesterday, and we're walking behind this mom holding a small (maybe 6-8 weeks?) old baby, and he's adorable. My mom is like, ohh, how cute! Okay, let's take that one.
I had to comment to her that strangers might take that seriously, so I was joking to my mom and the mother that we weren't really going to take her baby. The mother was super nice, and chatted with us a bit. Ahh, babies.
UGH...no more baby talk please!
Richard and I were talking about this over the weekend. I finally got him to admit that he does want a baby and that he wants to be a daddy. We always talked about having one in a 5 or more years but I think it might be sooner than that.
His cousin entered her 14 month old in a baby photo contest. OMG, he is so freaking cute! I want one.
we are supposed to be trying to get preggers, but I'm not a baby person at all. Mostly I find them annoying and life sucking. God I hope I change when I actually have to pop one out...
Shauni, when do we get to see your model shots?

I held a 7 week old last wednesday and I was baby drunk for a good 15 mintues. Any time I see a baby that is cute I like to joke that it makes my uterus hurt..
My view is that when in utero, that is what they're actually doing.
I don't want to share my ben and jerry's with anyone! Not even my unborn child.
If I ever do get KU, I'll be the most irreverent mother ever. I would refer to my fetus as "alien", "parasite" and "food stealer" and once it was born I would call it the "ugly, wrinkly, old man." I think all babies are ugly. Period. They start to get cute at like 4 -6 months.
I'm such a baby-hater.
