Back in the day

Our local radio station always does a" back in the day buffet" during lunch and today they went back, like back far enough that I felt like I was at a dance in JH/HS.  *sigh*

For example..

Nu Shooz- I Can't Wait

Bobby Brown- Don't Be Cruel

Janet Jackson- Nasty

House of Pain- Jump Around

In all honesty it was the most amazing 30 minutes of my life today..lol

    Heh, our dj played everything except the Nu Shooz song at the wedding. It was awesome. We went heavy on the 80s/90s pop.

    I tried to get my husband to do the Bobby Brown floor hump when they played Humpin' Around, but, well, rented tux. Womp-womp.

    We did, however, get some dance offs - one to It Takes Two, (which was uh.mazing.), and one to Livin' La Vida Loca.

    Love it. I was grocery shopping on Sunday & I heard "Lucky" by Britney Spears immediately followed by "Tearin' Up My Heart" by NSync. I love Kroger.

    When I got my hair done last Saturday the Muzak was a mid-90's mix.  It was AWESOME!!!!!  I felt like I could have been dancing in a dimly lit half decorated gymnasium.

    We had a halloween party a few years ago where we tried to get a friend of ours to do the worm. It was amazing. I even have a video of it..

    We used to play a lot of the XM 80s channel on Dish when we first started dating...back when we had a tv in the same area as the bed...I kind of want to listen to some ace of base now though...I think we have some on our iphones, maybe I just found my work-out music for the morning!
