Rec a cordless stick vac please

I have a shark, and I loved it until the brush stopped rotating, got another one and the same thing happened again.  I would only use it for the kitchen, baths and foyer, everything else is carpeted.  Oh, and I have a shedding dog, if that makes a difference.  Thanks!

Re: Rec a cordless stick vac please

  • My Shark did that too!

Playing around with it one day, I took the head with the spinny brush off and scraped with a screwdriver. A whole bunch of crap came out. Then I ran a ton of plain water through it. Let dry and repeat. Then I put it back together and let it spin for about 5 minutes without vacuuming anything.

I also cleaned any other compartment I could get to and wash. Put I'm sure you already did that part.

    It works great again now!

I don't have anymore suggestions for you but just thought I'd share.

  • I'll try that!

  • I recently bought this model, but now reading this I almost think I should return it, because I have a mostly carpeted home..should I give it a go? or is this a hard-floor vac only??
