My best friend is studying for a professional exam - one of those things where you study for hours every week, for months. I want to send her a little care package to show my support and make life a little more pleasant while she's studying. What would you put in it?
So far I've got her favorite candy, some hot chocolate mix, and I'm thinking about getting her a gift certificate to a local mani/pedi place. Any other ideas? She doesn't drink coffee btw... Thanks!
Re: Study care package?
Homemade cookies, and a variety of teas if she's a tea drinker. Maybe a GC for a local restaurant. Depending on what she's studying for, I might add in some fun pencils or pens, or notebooks. I'm a giant nerd for school supplies.
Ditto things like Post-It notes or index cards. Nice pens?
They probably don't have this everywhere, but I love the ribbons they sell at the dollar store. They say things like "birthday boy" and "No. 1 student." They're meant for little kids, but the cheese factor is so awesome for adults.
I agree with everything everyone said. In addition, those little post it flag things so that you can tab off pages are very helpful.
Maybe a chick-flick DVD or some Mozart (not actually true, but there is that whole myth about being smarter because you listen to it while you study). Also, little bottles of alcohol.
