I thought this was pretty profound

That was such a wonderful read. Thank you so much for sharing that!
I think most people can relate to that information.
I really liked that. It is something that I talk about with a friend a lot.
She has been going through infertility treatments and is unusually open about that. I had a miscarriage a few years ago and tell people fairly easily. We have talked about that fine line between oversharing (we don't want to be THAT person) and sharing your life.
If I had not told so many people about my miscarriage (I had to because it happened after the 12 week mark so we had announced the pregnancy to a lot of people after that milestone), I would not have heard the tons of stories from others in return about their own experiences with it.
These things are real life, and I feel like the more that you can be real about what is going on, the more in return others share their real experiences.
Thanks for sharing that!
She was shocked and goes "You too? We're going through IVF too. Oh my God- you're the first person in real life I've told that to." - and it created a bond that led to a stronger friendship between us.
I totally respect a person's desire to keep these issues private, but I really felt that for me to be open, it led to her feeling like she finally had someone who understood it and understood her. It was that experience that made me glad I was open about it.
