CDS came this morning...

Wow what a whirlwind 2 hours it was! 4 evaluators came, an OT, a SLP, and 2 special educators and played and talked to the boys and to us. In the end, the boys came our average or above on everything but expressive language and so we will be having an early interventionalist come in and work on their expressive language. It feels so nice to have a set of "next steps" so that we can move forward and get them to start saying some words!

Yeah, the boys did phenomenal, really warmed up to the evaluators really quickly and the evaluators were great, too. They worked really well as a team and that helped a ton I think.

Wow it sounds like they're doing great (esp considering how overwhelming it must have been to have so many people over today!). I'm glad they'll get help w/ expressive language too if that's what they need. Congrats on having a plan!
