I think we could really use this post right about now.
Thanks to Glee and the radio this morning, I totally have every song by Ke$ha stuck in my head right now. They're all just sort of blurring together into one big medley. My insides are having a little dance party.
I'm wearing a sequined cardi. Shiny things always make me feel better. I'm like a crow.
I officially weigh less than I did when I graduated from high school.

im getting mcdonalds for lunch today because i have a particularly wretched doctors appointment today. my fourth one in four weeks. while the procedure really sucks, the cheeseburger i reward myself with is totally worth it.

My something good is that my boss is out today but she dropped off the Girl Scout cookies that I bought from her daughter. I just demolished a sleeve of Thin Mints and I don't feel the least bit guilty.

I scored 96 points on one word XENIC on Words With Friends. I felt really smart and kick asss. I am currently getting crappy letters and getting by asss handed back to me.
I think if you listen to Rolling in the Deep you'd feel better. Adele has a really tough as nails voice and feeling to that song. Might help. I rock out to it constantly.

My something good is I'm having a fondue party tomorrow night and I'm sooo excited for all the cheese and wine!!!
We're taking one more quick trip up to MD for Matt's birthday (the 4th) before Miller's opens again and we're stuck selling our souls all summer.
And now I have "tell me something good" stuck in my head, and for some reason, when I hear it, it makes me want to dance while waving a shirt around....
Holy crap Smo! If you would have added 2 more letters you would have had a 30pt bonus!! I would play you in words with friends, except i just deleted it because I suck so bad.... lol. I also tend to either only get all consonants.. or all vowels... never a good mixture of both...

DH and I are both off work today. It's the first time since Valentine's Day we've both been home at the same time for longer than an hour. I think I'm going to get some.
I took a trauma nursing class last week and yesterday, and I scored high enough on my written and skills exam to qualify to apply to be an instructor! So whenever they have 4 eligible people they will pay for us to go to Columbus and take training to teach trauma nursing. Considering I've only been an ER nurse since July, I'm pretty excited that I did so well.
We finally (after I finally ordered them in November) got our wedding albums in the mail today, and the photographer gave us a bunch of extra prints because he did a batch print. He rocks.
Congrats to both my TTC buddies, Amberley18 and sb2006 on their beautiful babies!
Bahaha. I'm turning into my mother. She always jokes that now that she's getting "old" (she's 48) that she likes birds more and more. She bought some bird prints for the dining room and was so concerned that they were "old lady." We had to reassure her before she would hang them. I have two nest and egg prints about our mantle. I love them! I'm not ashamed.
My something good is that my co-worker that has been out on medical leave since Jan. 1 is coming back on Monday, so I will no longer have to work mandatory OT every single day, and I will no longer have to try to do both our jobs! Yay!
Also, I got lunchtime nookie yesterday which was awesome.

Today is my 3rd day in a row of starting my day with a 40 min workout, and I'm finally to the point where I don't have to talk myself into exercising, I actually want to do it.
I made a delicious coffee cake yesterday (hence needing the 40 min workout).
I'm going to meet my friends' new baby on Friday!!
I'm 100% ready for this baby to be here. Everything is set, our CC is paid off, we have everything we need, his stuff is washed, and most importantly, he's healthy. I finally feel ready for him and it feels good.
Also, I love my husband more than ever. He's been a huge rock throughout this and is so excited it's so cute.

First of all, I really like this post! I like talking about the good things in our lives
Despite having a really awkward day, I had a great 2 week check up. My doctors are really pleased with my pregnancy and everything is normal and the baby is "perfect". This makes me so happy and thankful to have had it "easy" so far.
Dan has come to every doctor's appointment except for one... He's the best.
We bought baby's dresser today. Her "nursery" is complete, we just have to put it all together.My Acme Box last update 3/28/11
