So, what is everyone going to be this year? ?Or what would they be if dressing up?
I was a rubber tree last year. ?Fake ivy and condom packages. ?Easy. ?Plus, I gave the condoms away, so yay for safer sex.
I might be a J-girl this year. ?Or I might repeat the rubber tree. ?It was fun, and no one here saw it.?
Re: s/o halloween
I dont know if I am dressing up this year. We usually do some kind of group theme at work, but no one as stepped up and thought of an idea this year, so I am thinking I am just going to take advantage of the fact that we can wear jeans that day to work. I dont really want to spend any $$ on a costume this year.
I was Medusa on Saturday - I braided my hair in a bunch of braids and got some toy snakes and wound the braids and snakes in a nest on top of my head (and I thought all this hair was heavy on its own!).
I have another party with the same people this weekend, so I'm contemplating something different, but I haven't come up with anything yet :::watches thread for ideas to steal:::
I don't have anything to go to except for a work party, but I'd be Ashley Todd. Cheap and hilarious.
My bosses are Republicans, so I won't be doing that!
Oooh, medusa is a great one. ?I have no hair, though. ?I'd have to find a wig.
If you want ideas of things I've seen/done that I can't repeat.
Germ: really easy. ?Green leggings, green sweatshirt, stuffed with lumpy balls. ?Get some slime and smear it on your face.
Jellybeans. ?A bunch of balloons of different colors taped to you.
A friend of mine was a flower in a pot. ?I don't know how she did it, though.
My #1 wish is to do flying spaghetti monster. ?But I never take the time to make the costume.?
I'm handing out candy to the neighborhood kids, so I'll probably wear my cat ears, my devil horns or my black halo. I'm trying to get Mr. Liu to wear a mullet wig, but no dice so far.
If I were doing something, I'd dress up as a referee this year. I saw a cute girlie outfit with shorts and the striped shirt and another version with a skirt. I'd spend the day throwing yellow flags at people.
I went to a party on Saturday and dressed as Magnum PI ('cause of my mad investigative skills
). I wanted to go as Betty Draper but didn't have the time to get it all together.
A couple went as Ashley Todd (the woman who carved the B into her own face and said it was a black male) and her alleged black attacker. It was hilarious. Someone should do that!

I'll hang out at home in my renfaire garb, like I do every year. I have the shoes for the FLDS costume, but I never made the dress.
DH wants to watch The Ring this year (he'd actually prefer the Saw series, but I fell asleep during the last 20 minutes of the first one and he's never really forgiven me for that). Then maybe we'll walk to the bar, seeing as how it's Friday and all. Or, maybe I'll stay home and contemplate the financial burden of my veterinarian bills, eating cheap noodles with butter. Again.
Or you can dress like a Chipotle burrito, go to Chipotle, and get a free dinner!
I always want to do it, but I chicken out because I feel like a chunky girl dressed as a burrito, obtaining a free meal just screams pathetic.
My same old costume I wear every year to pass out candy to the kiddies in the neighborhood - my pumpkin t-shirt!
I know I am so boring!!! The last time I dressed up for a Halloween party was 4 years ago - I was a sexy devil!
