No! They're great! I'm actually an Esthetician (not at Bernards so I don't know why I'm promoting them but it was too good a deal to pass up. lol.). A facial should NOT make you break out! The steam and extractions may bring things to the surface quicker than they would normally "erupt" but it definitely will not cause you to suddenly become a pimple prone mess. I promise!
They used to scare me too. People (especially my mom) would always say the same thing about breaking out and stuff. I have pretty sensitive skin (if I use anything with that benzoyl peroxide ingredient in it, my face swells up like a balloon and gets all red and itchy, and I only have to use a smidge) and the one facial I received a Toppers Spa in Marlton was heavenly. I thought my face would atleast be a little blotchy afterwards but it really wasn't.
I say go for it. I mean, everyone reacts differently so don't do it before a big, important date, you could have a reaction, but it's not guaranteed to happen, and the results are awesome!
