Prayers Requested

I'm requesting some prayers from my April girlies! DH has had the flu since Saturday (not the vomiting one, just feeling like a truck hit him, couging/congestion). He saw the Doc Monday and got some meds. He went back to work today, but said that his chest hurts when he breathes. So he called the Dr this morning, just NOW got a call back (it's 2:30 here....I am beyond annoyed with his Dr) and they are sending him for a chest x-ray. I'm guess it's turned into bronchitis or pnemonia, but hoping that it's not too serious. If you could say a little prayer, I'd appreciate it! He's on his way in now (wouldn't let me leave work to take him), so I'll update when I know something. Thanks in advance!

  • Oh, man! Thoughts and prayers that he is going to be okay! Jeff had pnemonia last winter for about 4 weeks. They almost hospitalized him, but he pulled through okay. Hope they get him on some meds, and if the doctors tell him to not work for a few days, TELL HIM TO LISTEN!!! That is why it took Jeff 4 weeks to heal because he kept going to work until the doctor MADE him stay or he would hospitalize him!

  • Ugh, I had severe bronchitis/borderline pneumonia a few years ago and it was awful - the sickest I've ever been. Big vibes heading your way that he gets better soon. If he gets some strong antibiotics he should hopefully feel better quickly.

  • Thanks for the P&PT! It apparently worked. His chest xray came out negative for bronchitis & pnemonia. They sent him home with prednisone and told him to call if it gets any worse.
