Well, I sort of introduced myself and then vanished. That was rude! Sorry!
Anyway, in case you don't remember, DH and I are having a house built. I posted a picture in January and today we had our pre-drywall walk through. Here's how it's (yes, that's a nod to the grammar post below) looking now:

Definitely a step up from the concrete slabs I posted before. We're the unit in the middle.
Re: House Update
Thank you! March 31 is our closing date and we just scheduled a "pre-closing" walk through for March 30.
This is so surreal, especially considering the fact that we just started looking for a home in December!

Looks sweet. Is it a 3 unit condo?
When we were in the house hunt we started looking first week in January and closed March 31st. We didn't think in a million years the process would be as quick as it was. We weren't planning to buy until fall-ish time frame. Sometimes things just work out.
So true. We were just tentatively looking and meeting with an agent and then BAM! we bought a house.
Your new home looks great. Are you getting to choose all the finishings and features?
This was also us. I keep getting nostalgic, because this time last year we were putting in an offer on our house.

It's a 3 unit townhouse and ours alone is just shy of 2200 square feet. The space rivaled a lot of the single family homes that were in our price range.
We did get to pick everything inside, but the siding/brick and shutter color were predetermined. I understand why that would be the case, but I'm still slightly annoyed by it.
OOOO! That's so big!
Yeah, I would be annoyed by the rules about the outside, but hopefully they'll be neutral, non-offensive choices. That sounds fun to get to pick it all on the inside, though.
