Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

So our directv box went out tonight. The box isn't getting power and all of the steps I tried with the tech on the phone didn't help, so they are sending us a new one. Here's the kicker, we lease the box from direct and we have to pay $22 to have them ship us a new one! It's not like we broke the box on purpose, it's their faulty equipment. Am I right to be upset about having to pay shipping?

Ew, that sucks. I'd definitely be mad since, like you said, it is their faulty equipment's fault.
When we had comcast and had to get new equipment at least we were able to drive to the place where you can pay your bill and exchange there.

Um, I would be upset. How long have you had them. I would probably call back and speak to someone about it and see if I could get some type of discount or something.
