Other than being ridiculously busy at work, not a bad week so far.
H&I made time to go to a late lunch and see a movie on Monday. 'No Strings Attached' was exactly what you would expect - a lot predictable with some really funny parts. I tried out a recipe for Pioneer Woman's Chicken Tortilla Soup. I think with some tweaking on the next batch, we'll have found something we really like with that.
Yesterday, was work, laundry and leftovers. Barely worthy of comment.
Lots to do today on the calendar, but mostly work stuff. Not interesting. Zumba at lunch & Tai Chi after work.
What's up with your week?
Re: What's Up Wednesday?!
DD has been sick since last Friday, and now DH isn't feeling well, but it's probably my busiest week at work, quite possibly all year. Murphy's Law, I suppose.
Meetings all week, including a presentation to the Sr. VP today. Mandatory training later today & all day Friday.
DH & I start going to a small group at our church tomorrow night. Hoping it goes well.
Those are the highlights.
Good Luck!! I hope you get both of your awesome news items!
Good luck! Keep us up to speed.
As far as What's Up Wednesday, all I have to say is...you mean it's not Thursday? *sigh*
All I have been thinking about lately is car buying, lol. I SHOULD have a vehicle tonight, with a little luck. I just hate all the negotiation, financing research/options, insurance changes, etc. It exhausts me. I'm excited and ready to have a new (well, used but new-to-me) vehicle.
And, we are looking to replace H's vehicle as well, but that should go more easily because we are looking to pay straight up cash for it and not finance anything.
