Dust Request for FIL w/update
My FIL has colon/liver cancer. He and MIL were on their yearly trip to Palm Springs last week when they had to come home because his legs were so swollen he was unable to climb the stairs to the guest bedroom of the house where they were staying with friends. He went to the hospital yesterday and they finally had a consult today. The tumor in his liver is blocking the inferior vena cava (the wide vein that carries deoxygenated blood from the lower half of the body to the heart's right atrium).
So they are doing surgery to put a stint or shunt in to prevent it from blocking the vein on Fri. His bile duct has also been impacted, causing him to be jaundiced. Update: They are putting a stint in tomorrow to prevent it from continuing to block the bile duct, too. We talked to him tonight and he sounded really tired. We're going to visit him tomorrow before his surgery. Will you please send dust, vibes, prayers and/or thoughts out for him? Thank you so much!
