Last night I went home, made a nice dinner, cleaned the kitchen top to bottom, packed lunch and my gym bag, and we watched Temple basketball and some shows: Raising Hope, Criminal Minds and Modern Family. Modern Family cracks me UP.
My sinuses are starting to drain, and it is awful and gross. Head pain still present. Balls.
I was going to have MFD take my car for an oil change today, but that can wait until next week. It does need a wash before I drive to AC on Saturday because I can hardly see out of the farking windows.
It's not Friday. Meh. Haircut and color tonight, and finally a trip to Lowe's on the way home that I've been putting off for over a week.
seriously, i cannot believe it is only thursday, AND i had monday off! this week is dragging! i think it is because we have been sharing our house all week and havent had a night to just come home and relax on our own.
last night after doing my 5k training (legs feel so sore!) i got home and my friends had decorated the house for my birthday, made me a ww dinner (so good--shrimp lomein) and angel food cake for dessert. little olive helped me open my presents (got some great shoes, a james perse shirt, and a bathtub stopper so i can take a bath again!) and then we relaxed by wtaching how to lose a guy in ten days, my fave chick flick. i didnt have to cook or clean at all and i LOVED it.
tonight our guests leave, so we can go home and RELAX. and tomorrow we are supposed to get 6-12" of snow...

Good Morning!! I had trivia last night. H was working so he couldn't play but at least we play where he works so he can help us on questions. We did ok.
Not much going on tonight or tomorrow. Sunday i think we are going to our first baseball game of the season! I love that baseball season is here, well at least in Florida. We are going in on weekend season tickets with our friends, for the Rays. We are HUGE Red Sox fans so it is kinda hard to root for our now home town team(The Rays) especially since they are in the same divison as our Sox. Of course the first year we moved down here is when the Rays started to be good.

Good Morning. How is it NOT Friday yet? And I shouldn't complain since I had Tuesday off too for a stupid furlough day.
Last night, I baked some sweet potato fries (OMG so freakin' good) to go with some real turkey for sandwiches. I also met Jillian again and we had it out...I lost. Majorly. I've got my gym bag packed for tonight so I can go straight there after work. We're having salmon for supper (Jeremy's going to hate me) and some veggies and probably brown rice.
Therapy, meeting, and paperwork is my day today. Oh I love these kids but lordy they are something else this morning!
I went home and cooked dinner which I then ate alone. DH had to stay later and then just walked from the train station since I wanted to start dinner. I tried to go to bed early, but that never works out. I ended up spending 40 minutes making a new custom layout on my phone.
I'm glad it's Thursday. I did have Monday off and agree it's been a long week. I'm looking forward to seeing my sisters and Bon Jovi tomorrow night. But I'm not looking forward to the non-stop rain we'll be getting all day tomorrow. I'll be lucky if I don't look like a drowned rat by the time I get to the arena.
Don't bother fooling around with it for awhile. TN is totally freaking out re: avatars and sig pics.

Had a dream I was queen.
Woke up. Still queen.
Went home and farked around on TN for a while, relisted eBay stuff, then ran errands w/ DH. Came back and had a pint of Haagen Dazs and popcorn for dinner (bad me!), got all hopped up on sugar, watched some Fringe and crashed hard. Boring night.
Walked in to work this morning to a "love note" from my ex-boss. I call them love notes b/c she's so passive agressive and will leave shiz on your desk instead of coming to talk to you. Lame. And why are you "talking" to me anyway, what I do now has nothing to do w/ you anymore. Leave me alone b-word!
DH is trying to decide if he should buy another FedEx route or some other type of route. He sold his other FedEx route last May and basically hasn't been working since. I'm thinking please please please do something soon, I'm tired of having no money! And we need to move, badly.
In happier news, my work bestie just joined my same gym and I'm trying to convince her to do a triathlon with me. *fingers crossed*
I went to work on Monday but not yesterday, so it sort of evened out. I still can't wait for the weekend though! Today we made a big breakfast because we were out of Eggos (our normal weekday breakfast), so we had a nice snuggly yummy morning. I'm debating whether to even eat lunch today, that's how huge breakfast was. Since I have class 1-2:30 today, I think I have to eat something. Saturday we are going out for my birthday to Volt, a restaurant owned by a former Top Chef contestant, and I am SO freaking excited.
Yesterday some shoes I ordered came, which was great - too bad they're for summer so I can't wear them yet. And my grandpa sent me a birthday present, it was a weird collection: a CD of songs he's sung in plays, two pictures of drawings from an art class he took (these he said he sent because he wanted me to cherish then and keep them for future generations), and a scrapbook of our wedding written from his perspective. He scanned in our STD, a card he sent me (w/ envelope) a picture of the gift he gave me, our invitations (w/ envelope and accommodations insert), even an e-mail he wrote me. It was all kind of random.

ITA w/ pp's who said this short week is dragging...Boss is out today and tomorrow and I don't really have much to do. Early days, anyone? And I'm hungry. Already had my bagel thin and my am snack of clementines and PB...no way I will make it to noon for lunch.
Can't wait to get home tonight to start moving furniture back into place. DH is a saint since he cooked bacon & eggs for dinner and painted trim while I passed out on the couch last night (after finishing up the windows & crown molding). Pretty sure he'll be happy when he can have his wife back to normal. I seriously feel like I have narcolepsy since I fell asleep while FF through commercials on a DVR'd show.
Damn it....now I'm craving salmon and sweet potato fries.

I am craving sweet potato fries now, too. And thanks for the bolded part - I feel like I can't explain the dynamics properly and I always wind up looking ungrateful or like I'm reading too much into things. I feel like people are just going to tell me that he's my grandfather and I should respect him and that he's just expressing his love/pride or something.
Morning all! One day closer to Friday (did I mention I didn't work Monday either).
Last night I jumped on my treadmill for 30 minutes, did a few loads of landry and watched American Idol.
This morning while I was leaving the house I made a decision that I was going to re-joing the gym. Um, I mean actually go. I've been paying a membership fee every month but haven't been going. If I'm going to lose weight I need to go to the gym at least three times a week...sigh.
Alicia- I saw about 4 mins of the video. You both look so happy. How did you upload the video? I had the DVD of ours and I've tried uploading it so many flipping times but I can't!

You would think I could... I usually just fix my export settings from the editing software.
But I'm betting it needs to be compressed. Most sites have a maximum file size/data rate/etc.
ETA: look for a program called WinRAR. My friend just reminded me of it. I have used it before, just not in a very long time.
