It never fails. I laugh my freakin @ss off everytime. I'm sorry. I realize I can only do this because she's not my mother. Good for you for holding your ground though!
ETA: I didn't see the edited part about God the first time I read this. Haha. How does she even say these things with a straight face. Seriously DP, God went out of his way in his super busy schedule to provide you with those tickets...it's really quite selfish to snub God.I agree. He and Crazy are both not speaking to you.
It is really crazy down here today. If she had actual tickets to come on center, well, those are a really great spot to watch from. And it IS the final launch of Discovery, and one of the last ever. And it's not as hot as it will be this summer... But if you don't want to make the trip and be stuck in traffic I totally understand that. I cringe at the thought of the traffic and I only live 20 miles from here. Your mother just has this ridiculous ability to make everything about HER, because of course this was a personal attack against her. *eye roll* Sorry you have to deal with that, but did we really expect anything different?
