D&R Projects
Anyone have any D&R projects going on?
I know LB is refinishing her table & Brittjoy refinished the dresser. Bonus points for PIPs!

This weekend I am going to try and find a dresser at Goodwill or somewhere like that to refinish for the nursery. My mom has one I want but when I told her I was going to paint it she said I couldn't have it.
I also need to paint DH's bathroom.
I'm making a trophy...does that count? Haha. We're on a trivia team and the 1st place winners have a big trophy that sits on their table. We NEVER get first place so I made us our own freakin trophy and it's making it's debut this Sunday night.
One of our friends 8 yr old daughters named us the Starzz (yeah...I know) lol so I made it super 80's obnoxious. It's black and silver and has a bunch of neon shiny star crap that I found at the dollar store. No picture yet.
I guess most of you have already seen my dresser I refinished, but in case some of you aren't friends with me on FB, I will AW it one more time on here:
And I plan on doing the same treatment to this giant bookshelf that doesn't match anything else in my house right now (please excuse the messiness, we threw stuff on it when we moved and have not reorganized yet!)
In addition to painting the godforsaken chairs and table, my mom bought a ton of stuff from IKEA for my DR this weekend. So we put together the sideboard on Tuesday, hung a giant picture frame that I put some really pretty fabric in, and we're hanging ledges and more frames tonight or tomorrow. I really want to have to all done by Monday so you can all ooh and ahh over my fabulous dining room.
I'm going to Home Depot shortly to buy spray paint because I give up with this silly brush and roller on spindles bullsh!t.

after the u/s tuesday, we'll have a better idea of what direction we're going with it, and will then actually start moving furniture, painting walls, painting furniture, etc.

I bought paint to refinish our bedroom furniture so it would all match last spring, but I never got around to doing the project. I should probably do that.
I've been trying to think of ways to incorporate more color into our house since all our walls are light tan. The guest bathroom is painted blue. Now I'm going to paint our foyer/entry a light gray & put up bead board. I also want to find a pretty rug for that space as well.

Make a pregnancy ticker
We are redoing our florida room. Next weekend we'll be installing french doors that open into the backyard. Up until now we've had no access to the backyard other than going out the front and walking around the house.
We tore down all the fabulous wood paneling and carpet and will be putting up drywall and tiling the floors to match the kitchen. We'll also be installing a fan and some recessed lighting in the ceiling.
This project was spurred into action by our septic tank replacement which led to opening up the walls and tearing up the floor in this room to replace leaky pipes.
My Ovulation Chart
Kind of... we just bought a pretty cabinet to put the china in, which finishes decorating the sitting room, and I am so thrilled to get my stuff out of plastic bins! Finally, after... um... yeah. I've never had it out of plastic bins.
Also we just had an elliptical installed in the office today, so I guess it's time to finish decorating in here. But I have no idea what to put up. I once thought of dandelion decals, but I think it's far too manly in here for that.
