What is one food you would never eat, no matter how much money someone offered you?
This QOTD stems from the conversation I had with DH yesterday where he told me he would rather eat shiit than mayo.
Honeymooning

I'll co-sign this one. I'm pretty willing to eat most things, but if it's in a head, no thank you.
I could be paid to eat the different parts of a head, maybe.
We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?

any seafood, especially shellfish. I'm deathly allergic
anything else is fair game!
Mayo also. I have a bad history with it and I hate the taste. My co-worker asks for extra mayo on everything. I gag when she dips her fries in it.

Me too. There are plenty of foods that I don't care for, but for a certain price tag I'm pretty sure that I could choke about anything down.
All I can think of is that episode of Fear Factor where they had to eat bull testicles.
I draw the line there.
Brain. E tried goat brain when we were in Greece - mostly for the purpose of not offending our friend's father who had bought it and offered him a taste. The look on his face and his description afterwards was enough to almost make me sick. He said it was the consistency of peanut butter.
I'm okay with most other things though - I've eaten things like tarantula, jellyfish and pig intestine so I like to think I'm pretty adventurous!
Now jumping domestically.
Well that was a crazy couple of years.
This is me too.
I have eaten plenty of weird things including bull testicles (Rocky Mountain Oysters). I'd never want to eat them raw but breaded and fried, they actually aren't too bad.
Ditto.
as well as ditto to the Rocky Mountain Oysters (Calf Fries in Texas)... I mean, I wouldn't order them off a menu or anything, but I have tried them just to say I had.
There probably isn't anything that I would flat out refuse to eat...as long as it was prepared well. I don't know that I would eat something disgusting just for money though (like Fear Factor type deal...). However, if it were well prepared as a specialty, I would probably at least try a bite.
Oh, except scallops...I'm allergic. I love them...but they make me sick...sad.
