Hey! I was wondering if you had any updates regarding the situation with your father. How is everything working out with the little girl that was living with your dad?

Thanks so much for checking in! We have been so busy that I haven't even thought to post.
Unfortunately my dad went back home after about a week and a half of stying with us. My step mom was calling every day and begging for him to come back and telling him the baby missed. He went back with the contingency that if she even mentions drinking, he was going to call me ASAP. So far so good, but this is how it always goes. Court is in March, but my assumption is that she will be dropping the charges. Hopefully the court doesn't decide to pursue it.
It's certainly not the outcome I wanted, but I will take "good for now". I am a little sad because we were supposed to go look for apartments for him and I thought he was finally ready to walk away, but I can undestand that the baby is very important to him and he is thinking about her right now.
