Baby Girl has arrived!!!
Hey girls! I had my baby this morning at 7:40 am, and she weighs 8 lbs and is 20 inches long. I went into labor on my own and we got to the hospital around 2:30 last night...I'm not gonna lie, contractions were way worse than I remember and I seriously couldn't get that epidural in quickly enough!! After only 3 pushes, she was out! Big brother paved the way for a very easy delivery this time 
).
I'm recovering much more easily this time since the pushing was so short, and Baby Girl is such a good little nurser already...I'm absolutely in love with her. She has a head full of dark brown hair, and bright blue eyes. I'll post pics soon and will let you know when we *finally* decide on a name!
And Jen, hang in there!! It's your turn next - I'll keep sending you vibes for a quick & easy delivery ).

Seriously, you'll do great. I think half the problem was that I really didn't remember contractions being that bad (but according to DH, I was acting the exact same way as I had the first time so I obviously was forgetting). So the intensity just really surprised me. Once I figured out how nice the shower was, I pretty much camped out in there for like an hour until we left for the hospital. It really did take the edge off and make them more bearable. I can't remember if you're into meds/epis or not, but for me the epidural was awesome, and knowing that it was in my near future also helped me through
). And picturing funny things Jake did helped too...he was my little "happy place" I went if I needed to.

And yes, contractions were NO JOKE this time around! Nor were the afterbirth contractions every time I nursed! Like real labor pains.
