Oh, God, I can't believe I'm asking this, but here it goes.
So, I recently bought my first sex toy online. I bought a Rabbit on Amazon and it took a few weeks to arrive and I was very excited to try it since I've been wanting one for a long time. I get the box, open it, and the package it arrived in is not sealed. I've inspected the toy and it looks clean (the shaft looks a little greasy but I've heard that's common for silicone toys. I can't believe I'm admitting this but I [Oh God, the shame] smelled it and it smells new and plastic-y). There aren't any visible fingerprints or any other stains. The company I bought it from off Amazon has a lot of reviews and a very high rating. No one has complained about recieving used products. I emailed them and told them the package was open but apparenty I didn't give them my order number and they said they needed that to process refunds. I'm sure they'll refund me or send me a new one but who knows how long that will take.
Like I said, I really cannot believe I'm asking this, I know how dumb it sounds, but I haven't had sex in over a month, I'm drunk and DYING and I'd really like to use it. I have rubbing alcohol, bleach and I could boil water but I'm not sure if that's good enough. For all I know, the package could have just opened during processing? Am I shits out of luck? What would you do? (keep in mind I am desperate!)

Make sure you get the order number. Send it in and while you are awaiting your new rabbitt check out the local adult stores. I have yet to buy a toy through the mail and that is because I am an avid in-person buyer.
Do not, I repeat, DO NOT soak it in bleach, put rubbing alcohol on it. That actually destroys the material and will leave cracks in your toy. . . exposing you to a UTI or worst. . . a yeast infection. Your best bet is to not use it and get it out of your home soon! you may be horny but no orgasm is worth a " tainted croch".
i have toys of my own.
i dontthink that i would buy a toy from ebay or amazon just for that reason you usally dont know where it came from.
and they could of cleaned it before they shiped it so it could have that new smell to it.
to be on the safe side you should order your toys from a toy site.
and they have stuff to clean toys with. also. cause sometimes soap and water dont really clean the toys get all the Bactria n such.

You think a yeast infection is worse than a UTI?! I have heard of women whose UTI symptoms are simply peeing more often but jeez. Yeast infections (for me) are merely annoying and I sometimes have a hard time telling that that is what is going on. With a UTI in less than 36 hours i can go from sex to peeing what looks like pure blood and feels like razor blades and screaming while it happens. In conclusion: just dont use that toy lol. Go get one in person and clean that one off with an appropriate cleaner before you use it even if it looks sealed. Factories are disgusting too.
