Yay Friday!
I had cake for breakfast today, it was fantastic. Dinner with my dad last night went pretty well. They're about to redo the kitchen in their condo, so we just talked kitchens all night.
Not too much on the go this weekend besides house work. My brother is coming by to pick-up our old couch tomorrow, so we'll be couch-less for a week. I may get some girlie hangout time in there, and I may attempt to make cupcakes that actually taste good.
What does everyone have on the go this weekend?

I just ordered an iPhone! I know I'm waayyy behind the times, but we just couldn't justify it before. We get a sweet deal through a corporate plan though, so I signed up for that. They said it could be up to 4 weeks to arrive, but I hope it gets here before then!
Normal Friday night in for us, probably watch tv or rent a movie. Another driving lesson tomorrow morning and looking at some more apartments. Nothing planned yet for Sunday - may go to a museum if the weather stays crummy like it is.

Tonight I'll probably sit in for the Say Yes to the Dress marathon they run every Friday. I might pop in a movie. I haven't really been watching many of my Netflix stuff lately.
Tomorrow I think my BF is kidnapping me to go to the outlets. She wants a new Coach purse, and I'm hoping to find some new flats for cheap at Nine West up there.
Sunday we're going to try and start moving some furniture around in the house. I doubt that will happen, and we'll probably end up lounging around taking naps instead.
TGIF! I am so over work this week!
Ryan is still getting over his nasty cold, and now one of the boys has it. Seriously I cried at 4 this morning listening to him. =( So with that said, my weekend will be spent at home snuggling and taking care of a sick baby. (hopefully not 2, but it is probably going to turn into that, it always does).
It's snowing today (so ready for Spring now) so I am anxious to get out of here, and hope the commute isn't bad later.
Well, we are being hit by another snowstorm...so no school for me today. Ed took the day off today too. My only real plans for the day are to catch up on laundry, do a quick clean of the house, and get in a run. My best friend was supposed to come down tonight before we head to Boston tomorrow, but with the weather she will probably just come down tomorrow morning and we'll just head out when she gets here. Not quite as fun, but probably safer...
Tomorrow night is girls' night at my friend's apartment in Boston. We are planning our ten year high school reunion. We'll also go out to dinner to celebrate my best friend's engagement because our other girlfriends haven't seen her yet. And I'll make a trip to Trader Joe's before I come home...can't wait for that! We'll come home Sunday after brunch and I'll probably make a big pot of lentils for lunches for the week...

Holy moly, these colds are killer, aren't they? I'm still waking myself (and Phil) up every night coughing. It's weird because I don't cough during the day at all. This weekend, I'm planning on getting a ton of baking in. I have a leftover Christmas panettone (it's sealed and the box says it's good until June!) that I'm planning on making bread pudding out of. I think a whiskey sauce is in order too.
Other than that, Phil is on his last two weekends of freedom before he spends the next two and a half years of his life doing CGA courses. We're thinking of going to the AGO (art gallery) and having lunch somewhere cute, but if this winter weather holds up we might just cuddle inside for the weekend.

Sushi - you aren't behind, I refuse to pay for a data plan bc I have a smartphone through work (which blows)... if I ever need internet I have that, though I never use it.
This cold I have took a turn for the worse... I think I'm officially entering the coughing phase, but its not the coughing stuff up because youre getting better, but the youre coughing and it HURTS... and I have a stomach ache from the post nasal drip.... ugh, nasty.
Tomorrow I'm heading up to my moms. She's been having a breakdown of sorts so hopefully I can help her out around her condo and get her on the right track mentally.... its sad. I know what she needs to do, but its one of those things I don't really feel right saying outloud.... Then I'll come home sunday and plant my ass in front of the red carpet shows and the oscars.

Good morning! It's rainy and gloomy over here, but two of my favorite coworkers and I are going to a brunch place called Metro 29 at 11am, so I am looking forward to that! Right now I'm just editing something and sipping some coffee to pass away the next hour and a half.
Tonight I may go for a run for fun, but I do need to a long run this weekend, so I might skip it. This weekend is pretty typical--groceries, errands, reading, writing, gym.
I'm a teeny bit bummed out because a friend of mine who is getting married is visiting D.C. soon--right over the weekend that my parents are here. I'd love to be able to see her and her new husband, but I don't know if it'll be possible. I'm thinking maybe I can cajole my parents into having lunch with them one of the days. She's a sweetheart and I'm sure they'd like her. We'll see.

I'm excited... looks like we'll get to go on that trip in April!! Right now we're looking at going to the Bahamas.
And tomorrow we're going to visit our new house to take measurements of the rooms. ILs said they'd come along, but now that it's snowing and supposed to continue tonight, I have a feeling they'll bail.

We got snow here as well. Not much but the roads sucked. I think that the road crews decided that since they were already over budget this winter and since it is supposed to warm up above freezing today that they would just let the snow melt off on it's own. That made for a fun commute when the interstate was covered in ice.
This weekend should be relaxing. I have a busy night tonight. I'll be watching my cousin's softball game tonight and then having a wine/Top Chef night with a friend. But after that I have no other plans for the weekend. I'm hoping to be lazy and get rid of this cold.
I took today for.ev.er to get here. I'm not happy at work right now, so the week is just dragging.
I've got normal weekend errands today, but I am meeting SusiOT on Saturday night.

DH and I have tickets to see Eric Clapton tomorrow night!
The rest of the weekend will be cleaning and errands. We need go check out a few things for our trip to see if they're what we're looking for, and if so, then order them off Amazon for 1/2 the prices.
Is it bad that I have bought 3 pairs of boots and 4 outfits and I still don't have an outfit for the show? The want you to wear something nice, but casual and say to wear bright colors. My really colorful outfits are either way too dressy or way too casual. We have two days before the show and are going to go shopping for outfits. Neither of us have anything to wear so far, colors aren't the Euro style this year apparently.
I will definitely come back with a full report and plenty of pictures. We aren't allowed to take pictures at the show but I'll have plenty from the trip.
Also, I'm really hoping that Natalie Portman and Colin Firth win because I loved them in their roles and would love to see them on Oprah! I am so excited!
I'm so glad it's Friday. Tonight we're going to our friends house for cake to celebrate DH's friends birthday.
Tomorrow is our baby shower with DH's side of the family and friends and I'm soo looking forward to it. The downside is that it's outdoors and it's going to be cold and rain. They're going to put tents up but it's still kind of a bummer since now I can't wear the nice dress I bought. I have no idea what I'm going to wear.
Sunday we're doing our usual weekend stuff plus going to buy the dresser for the baby. I'm so excited to start putting all her stuff together.

Well since that stupid bill I was protesting against passed through the state assembly last night I will probably be drinking a lot of tequila tonight.
The rest of the weekend will be spent getting a few things for any potential child we may be getting any day now. I also have a lot of work to do for University just incase we do get a kid next week.
My ute still hates me and isn't cooperating with vibes or me. I'm just going to make an appointment for two weeks and then cancle if need be.
The hubs and I are going on a date tonight after hardly seeing each other all week! Tomorrow I have to work...ugh. Then Sunday we have showings set up with our realtor to see three more homes. Fingers crossed we find something!
DH and I are just going to stay in and get caught up on our TV tonight.
Tomorrow I plan to get to the gym and attempt a good run. I tried tonight but had to pee every 1.5 miles, so that's pretty frustrating. I might be going for dinner with my Dad. Otherwise it will be the normal groceries, church and then UFC at my friends.
Sunday I have a wedding shower and I'm hoping to workout and not much else.
