So, related randomness to start. She didn't make me do a pregnancy test. I was like if they make me do one of those....
Ok, so we got in about 1/2 or so late for our appointment. She did the whole background and history GTKY type questions. Then she did my first ever pap smear (I survived. I think the sheet they gave me to cover up the bottom half was more for me than it was for her but anyway, it worked.) and she did a bit of an exam and took a few extra cultures while she was at it. She thought everything looked great.
So the plan:
Day 21 bloodwork starting this cycle and every cycle until September.
Day 3 bloodwork next cycle.
Tube test (as I call it) next cycle. Probably right around our anniversary.
AAANNNNDDD the AAAAHHHHH part. 2 rounds of 100 units Clomid starting next cycle.
Here's me I have only had a few papers for bloodwork in my entire life. Now at home sitting on the counter I have 2 prescriptions (One for Clomid and one for something to do with the tube test) and 2 bloodwork papers.
Also, she liked my charts...
So, I think DH and I are going to do the Clomid and then see whether we stop and go to adoption or continue.
Melting Snow... because it means that spring is actually on the way and it's not snowing or cold.
Re: Appt Update - AAAAAAAHHHHHHH

Is she recommending Clomid because you don't ovulate regularly or to boost your chances each month? I'm glad she will be monitoring you so closely while you are on it.
Hooray for a plan and for surviving your first ever pap
Oct.'13 Siggy Challenge: Cheers to Easter!
How have you never had a pap before? That is so bizarre! I got one whether I liked it or not at my first OB appt while my doctor was down there with the vag cam. Hello looking at my girl parts for 20 min straight.
I'm glad you're got a plan in place and a doctor who is supportive all around. Hopefully the Clomid does the trick!
*Oh, and the sheet is definitely for you. Your doctor sees vaginas all day long, I don't think she really cares from one to the next.

Wow, I get a pap every year. That's crazy to me you haven't had one yet. I'm guessing that's standard in Canada.
Hope the Clomid works for you. I started on 50mg. Side effects have been minimal but be prepared to be an emotional basket case....seriously.
