Get Well gift ideas

My boss (whom I adore) is going through a rough patch. Her husband is in the hospital and just had a serious surgery. I'd like to send something to her and her husband, any ideas?

I think they both follow specific diets, so food probably isn't an option.

Should I send it to their home or the hospital?

Re: Get Well gift ideas

  • I'm sorry, I know you said no food...but this is the best I've got.  A fruit ediable arrangement?  I love getting those, and everyone I know loves them.  I know this is not an option if they don't eat fruit, but if they don't, then they should!...lol =)

I hope her husband gets better soon!

  • what about a gift card to a restaurant that offers take out?  I would probably send it to their home.

  • The only thing I can think of is doing a basket with hot/cold packs, bandaids, maybe a card game, tea, hot chocolate, chicken noodle soup, etc.

And I'd send it to their home.

  • How about a gift certificate for a cleaning service to come into their home once, or a GC to a grocery store of their liking, or perhaps, maybe wait until he gets out of the hospital, and do something nice for them, like get them tickets to the movies or something that they can do together which isn't going to cause too much stress or work on their parts.  GL!  Always send stuff to the house.
