This week has been hell, and I just want it to be over. First on Tuesday, I find out that my Dental insurance has a 1 year waiting period, and H needs to get his infected wisdom teeth out asap (scheduled for next week) and the insurance company says he has to wait till June, so guess we are paying out of pocket for that. And they dont want to pay my claim for my TMJ unitl the Oral surgan re submits all of my chart papers. Second, on Wednesday I ran over a piece of metal at our mail boxes that fell off an oil truck and put a major gash in my tire, which was less than a year old and had to buy a new tire for my car, which has lo profile tires so they are expensive. To top it off, I woke up with a migrane that morning and couldnt stay home, because I had a meeting with a new client. Third, Yesterday took the cake, H was fired from his job, that he has been at for 8 years, leaving his previous employer with his boss when his boss opened his business, so his boss could hire someone else who he could pay less after he gave H a promotion in December. Then I had to argue with his boss's wife to get H paid for his vacation time, and the last 2 jobs that he did. My boss called me from my part time job and told me that our band cancelled at the last minute this weekend, and If i knew of any bands that would be available at the last minute. But he still wants me to come in both nights this weekend (yeah! Atleast we wont have to dip into savings yet to pay our bills! read with scarcasm) Plus my dad is going in to meet with his dr to set up his back sugery this morning, which he has been putting off, because he will have no one to run his business for him for 6 months while he is laid up. I honestly dont know if I can take anymore right now. I'm trying to put up a brave front for H, because he is so worried, and we are TTC (bad timing for baby usually gets one right) and now with all this stress. And I am a worrywart by nature. My dad tells H that it was a blessing, he was fired when he was H's age and went and opened his own trucking company and has never regretted his decision. Sorry so long, I'm just panicking!
Re: Can this week just be over!
I was thinking the same thing
Sometimes medical insurance is the primary insurance for impacted wisdom teeth. You should call your medical carrier to check. As for TMJ, submitting a treatment plan/records is really common and the decision should not take long. Some states mandate TMJ coverage so you should check that too.
Hope your DH finds something soon. Any job is better than no job.
