Rhode Island Nesties
Dear Community,

Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

If you have questions about this, please email help@theknot.com.

Thank you.

Note: This only affects The Nest's community members and will not affect members on The Bump or The Knot.

  • The Nest is run by commies.

  • I think I'm going to attempt to use all the new(er) features and document it on my bio. It at least gives me a venue to air the little frustrations and make light of it all.

  • havent posted in a while, checking to see what my avatar is.  whats weird is that i originally went to an old post of mine, and it was still the pups....and pam, yours was still of you holding something in your hands.  but in the new posts...urs is a rainbow.

i thought that if you changed your avatar, it changed in all posts regardless of when it was posted.

  • The new avatars were able to be uploaded, but then it started being flakey. I haven't been able to reload my preferred avatar, and it's back to randomly cycling between the Nest's "default" clipart offerings. I haven't changed a thing!

It's neat seeing someone who was able to retain their own uploaded photo avatar though.  Maybe those bugs are finally being worked out. Again.

Theoretically, if you change your avatar, it should stick and follow you through all your posts.

  • And, it looked like after a few of days of that nonsense, I was able to upload the toes again. But then, I opened this post to share, and my excitement faded as a random avatar was over there on the left. Maybe it will show up again for me later.

  • I see Shannon's feet and puppies but Pam and Michele your avatar are still different,
