Spinach dip

Do any of you lovely ladies have a delicious spinach dip recipe that you would want to share? I have to take an appetizer to a party tomorrow and I was thinking a cold version of this.

Any other dip recipes or ideas are also more than welcome.

 Thank you!

Re: Spinach dip

  • My absolute favorite dip that is a huge hit is Buffalo Chicken Dip:

2 cups chicken, cooked and shredded (or 2 cups canned chicken)
? cup celery, finely diced (or some celery seed)
2 (8oz) packages cream cheese, softened
1 cup ranch dressing (bottle dressing)
? cup Buffalo wing sauce (Texas Pete Buffalo Wing Sauce)
2 cups Sharp Cheddar cheese, divided
    Tortilla chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Mix cream cheese, dressing and wing sauce.  Fold in chicken, celery, and one cup of the cheese.  Pour into a lightly greased 9x13 baking dish and
Top with remaining cheese.   Bake for 30 minutes or until bubbly and cheese is melted.  Serve with tortilla chips.

Just fyi, this makes a HUGE amount of dip, so I usually half it.

  • Make these, but divide the dough into 12 instead of 10 like the recipe suggests! LesPaul posted this recipe for the Super Bowl, and I made them... They were a hit!

    SO easy, and yummy!!

  • This is my go to recipe.

1 package frozen chopped spinach - cooked & drained

1 16oz container of fat free sour cream

1 8oz block fat free cream cheese

1 packet powdered ranch dressing. (usually use hidden valley ranch)

Combine in a bowl and serve. I always serve in a bread bowl with additional bread pre-sliced for guests.

  • Mmm, my spinach dip I make at work is amazing. I don't have the exact amount of each thing at the moment, but it has: spinach, cream cheese, caesar dressing, asiago cheese. It's serve warm and it's sooo good!
  • These all sound so good, my mouth is already watering. Now to pick what to make.. Hmmm.. Thank you for your help. I really appreciate it!
