I?m not sure if I posted about this or not. Anyways . . .
We are going to Disney next weekend for H?s birthday. Two of his best friends are coming to stay with us and to go drinking around the world at EPCOT. I?m not too thrilled and I?m sure most of you can figure out why. Next weekend also happens to be ESPN weekend at Hollywood Studios. They are having a 5k Saturday morning that goes through the park. I knew about it for awhile but I talked myself out of it since it?s pretty expensive to sign up and I?m not as fast as I want to be yet. I even told H that I wasn?t going to do it.
Well, I decided the other day that I was going to sign up for it. Why exactly? So the whole weekend would be just about H. He doesn?t really seem to care, but it makes me feel a little better. Plus, I get a medal if I finish and that makes me kinda happy.
And my BFF who lives in Kissimmee said she might be able to spend the day with me at EPCOT so I don?t have to spend all day with H and his drunk buddies.
(Last year for H?s birthday we threw a party and had a bunch of his friends over but for my birthday H was being such an @$$ that I almost didn?t do anything. I?m tired of him thinking his birthdays are so special)
Ok, sorry, that ended up kinda long haha
Re: Disney 5k next Saturday
I will be in Orlando next weekend (that is, if my family hasn't made plans for me already). Maybe if you are free I can meet up with you for Lunch or Brunch if you are totally over your H's BS?!
Anyway, I think you will have a good time running in the race. You will at least feel better in the morning after finishing a 5K rather than waking up with a hangover!
Baby Macy is here!
12/09 - Macy (daughter) | 4/10 - Began TTC Baby #2 | 12/10 - Chemical Pregnancy | 1/12 - Miscarriage at 14 weeks | DX - PCOS & Hyperthyroidism
I'm glad you are doing something for yourself. You deserve it and I agree with Kathy you will feel much better after doing a 5K than waking with a hangover,
Although I do have some friends who say you have to try the lemon grey goose (I think) Slush at Epcot.
