Hello Ladies,
I have been a lurker for a little bit and I have now decided to come out of the shadows. I love all of the advice that you give each other and I figured it was time that I was to reap the benefits of your wisdom.
I was married in August and just found out that I am pregnant. This is my second child. I had my first one 7 years ago...so I am kinda rusty and not up to date with all of the fun new stuff! So I can't wait to see what is new in our area and in the baby world.
Please let me know if you have any suggestions off the bat for baby #2. Also, I am really interested in cloth diapers. Does anyone have any insight or views that they would like to share?
Thanks! I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Re: Waves Hi!
Hello!
I'm Sarah and I live in Central Maine, no kids, no pets. MH is Luke.
Hi Acadia!
My name's Angel - I've been married for 3 1/2 years almost
I just found out I'm expecting as well
We're going to be due about the same time, My tentative due date is Oct 25th, I'm about 5 weeks and 4 days pregnant
I have my first Doc appt next thursday to get an actual due date
Where-ish do you live?? I'm up in Aroostook County.
I currently live in Portland, but we are looking at buying a house soon in the surrounding area. We have a cat and a new puppy. We found out that we were pregnant right after we got the dog. Interesting timing there! So I guess we will be dealing with poop and pee a bit longer than we expected!
Did anyone have a problem with sleeping during the first trimester? I have been waking up at 2-3 a.m. every morning for a week and have a really hard time falling back asleep. Any ideas of things that I can do that may help induce the sleep. I have tried the tea and deep breathing thing, no luck so far. Thank goodness I am on vacation this week, but next week when I go back to school the kids are going to have to put up with a very grouchy teacher!
Congrats and hi! I'm Mollie, my DH Kyle and I are both from the Mid-Coast area, but currently are living down in Newport, RI. We're expectiing our first child in mid-July, and are planning on moving back up to Maine for the summer to have the baby before we re-locate to Louisiana for his next work assignment.
I had the same problem with waking up around 3AM during the 1st tri- unfortunately, I didn't really find any relief from it, other than just to work through it with relaxing breathing, and eventually it let up the further along I got. Good luck, and look forward to seeing more of you on the board!
