has anyone ever had or currently use a maid? anyone WANT one!?!?
mannnnn, i hate being gone 12 hours a day (work + OT + commute) and then having to clean on the weekends
boooo. granted, i guess i dont have it that bad since it's just DH and me - no LOs or pets.... but still.
yesterday i asked DH:
me - "Can we get a maid?"
DH - "Nooooo, why??"
me - "But what if she's hot?"
lol.
[i'm not serious about getting a maid, i CAN do it myself, it's just annoying.
......]
Re: maid
nope. Now that I'm part time it's not a big deal at all for me to keep up w/ the house, but when I was working super long days it was hard. I just tried to do what I could during the week...do a load of laundry here, try to kick off the dishwasher before I left for work, etc. That helped not to have a ton to do on the weekends and not live in complete mess during the week
sorry it's rough. but at least you don't have to cook
I've thought about it but it is just not in the budget. There is a lady at church that cleans houses and I might have her come in and clean really really well before baby comes (cleaning baseboards, vacum really well, clean bath really well, etc).
I just try to do a little at a time.
