Manic Monday!
Morning ladies! Hope everyone had a great weekend! I would love to say I was productive, but honestly it was a chill wknd, just running some errands with my mom while my parents were here. I did get 2 things spray painted yesterday morning before the wind picked up. Poor DH, I'm sort of changing around our entire entry/family room look to lighter and brighter so I'm a bit spray paint happy.
They're saying now that the Republicans may be up for a short extension until they pass the budget, so I'm hoping come Friday we're not furloughed. There is a chance I'll be considered essential, which I'm ok with.

ETA: Just talked to my boss since I was out Thurs and Fri and he and I will be essential for our team.

Good morning!!
I made my first decent meal this weekend in a very long time and it included slicing lots of chicken, that one meal made me feel super productive. Otherwise I laid around waiting ror Pocket Pookums to move.

We were suppose to get a thunderstorm and I don't think every did, I was so excited for nothing, even though I guess it's a good thing because Lilly would have been a mess.
Between the thunder and lightning and my two guys snoring, thre was no hope for a restful night. I'm thinking a post-work nap is in order.

Wives Unscripted
Morning ladies!!! I had a great weekend. We were in Buffalo to celebrate DH's bday. We had a nice time with his friends Sat night and a wonderful dinner on Sunday with IL's. I ate so much food this weekend.
DH's parents also gave us an amazing gift, they are giving us part of their inheritence they received from DH's grandfather. So amazing. It came at just the right time. We just found out on Fri, that we will have to get a new car(mine is not long destined for this world). But most of all this will help us get CC debt free! We can actually start saving now for a house. We still have to wait for jobs but we can start saving now. Amazing. I couldn't express to them the appreciation I have for this gift.
So today I'm starting the car shopping. Ugh I knew it was coming, but it's hard to let go of the car that I've had for 8yrs now.
