So what did you do this weekend, girls?
Happy Monday, friends!!!
I did manage to go shopping with my Mom as planned on Saturday, with an added bonus: H came along and served as our chauffeur and transported our myriad of bags from the stores to the car so that we didn't have to lug them around the whole time. That was pretty sweet :-)
Alas, I do have a confession to make: I had planned to finish my book club book this weekend, however, the super nice spring like weather called my name, and I just couldn't stay indoors! Which is really bad because I picked the book...lol
I should finish it within the next couple of days though, as H is on nightshift this week, which is when I get a lot of reading done...
And how were your weekends???

Re: So what did you do this weekend, girls?
My weekend was pretty good. We went out Friday night, stayed out way too late and drank too much! Haha!
Then, Saturday I pulled myself out of bed at 1, yes 1, to go workout. My body hated me for it. But I managed to get a non-stop hour and a half in at the gym! That evening we went to the boxing matches that were being hosted by Showtime in a small city about 45 minutes away from us. They were really fun!
Yesterday, I completely planned on getting another hour and a half at the gym, but I went grocery shopping, cleaned the kitchen, and Jeff and I put a 500-piece puzzle together. We totally rocked it! Haha! : )
Running and volleyball tonight!
Friday Night we went to Brio Tuscan Grille. The food was amazing we order Sliced Steak Bruschetta, Artichoke Crusted Beef Medallions and Gorgonazola Crusted Bistecca. Yes we love meat. Then we went over to Brimstone Woodfire Grill they had a live band. We had a couple of drinks and called it a night. Saturday we had some errands and relaxed. Sunday dinner over my sister house to watch the Oscars. Hope we all have a peaceful work week.
We didn't do much because now I'm home sick..I knew I was coming down with something. I couldn't even get out of bed this morning and now I think I'll be able to go in around 2:30 to finish up some stuff. I'm in limbo between two daycares-one is my old job as a teacher and the mornings I go to my new job as Assistant Director...
Anyway..we saw Hall Pass (funny but lame) and went to White Chocolate Grill...aka my new FAVORITE date night place.
Make a pregnancy ticker
Diamond earrings = always a good thing!
Mine was pretty quiet. Did some work for "my kids show" and cleaned our dining room. I also finished my laundry which was great!!
I made amazing steaks last night YUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And we watched the Oscars.
We are SO boring
Saturday morning I had to work. My hours used to be 6a-10a but they are short a couple managers now so they had to change us to 8a-noon. So at least I get to sleep in a little more. DH and I did some shopping and had dinner at Applebee's.
Sunday I cleaned up my flower beds since I noticed my Day Lillies are already coming up! I can't wait for spring! Mother Nature is having mood swings here is St. Louis again... 60 degree weather, then snow a few days ago... yesterday another 60 degree day & 3 tornadoes (not in our area, but we did get hail and strong winds) last night and back to 30 degree weather today. Oh and I had a meeting at work too.
yup - pretty lame here too...
Saturday we did some yard work and played a ton of COD hehe... then we went out for a lil errands and date night dinner - SUSHI YUM! i ate my face off and it was delish... coldstone for dessert then home to watch a movie!
Sunday was lame... b-fast and food shopping then home to do laundry and edit photos! i'm so exciting i can't stand it!
haha - glad to hear most of you ladies had a great weekend!

This is so bad, but I don't even remember what we did Friday night. I think H worked late and then we grabbed some dinner. He crashed before 9 in his chair since he had been up since midnight.
Saturday I dropped H off at work then ran some errands. After I picked him up again, we made lunch at home and cleaned up a little. H's best man came over and hung out for a while and went to dinner with us.
Sunday we decided to sleep in then went a Border's that is closing. I tried to make us a yummy dinner but it failed, so we went to Qdoba instead.
Looking back, we ate out A LOT this weekend. Time to get back on track.
Well I'm here, better late than never I guess. Yesterday we had our file audit which I had been preparing for the entire month, yes every day from 8:30am-1pm I spent going through each and every file so things would be as perfect as possible. Good news is there were only a few (relatively small) items they found! And they did not have to do with my area of responsibilities that I have taken on so I felt good for my part. We'll see what our actual "score" is hopefully soon.
Friday we just vegged out and watched tv and Fight Club. I passed out on the couch near the end. Saturday we drove over to NJ to get some lime juice (for margaritas) and booze at a beer/wine/liquor store. Yes I live in the stupidest state in the country with regards to alcohol purchasing where you can't buy it just anywhere and the prices are fixed. So we got a bunch of stuff and probably saved $50 by driving over there. We stopped at a bar/restaurant called Chickie and Pete's we used to go to when we were working together way back when. We got and enjoyed the crab fries, hot shrimp and snow crab we ate when we frequented there every other Saturday. If you ever come to Philly you must go there!! We made a couple more stops then got home about 6:30 in time for the Flyers game, then vegged for the rest of the night.
Sunday we stayed around the house except for a quick run to Kohl's to get SD tights with my Kohl's cash and I got a new dress too! Great weekend all together but with the all day outing Saturday it felt too short. Glad you ladies had a good time!

I'm late to the game too!
Friday I ran some errands after work, ate supper, took the dogs for a walk, and then made pancake and waffle batter for the next couple months
Saturday we did doggie spa (clip nails, clean ears, and brush teeth), then we prepared our meals to be frozen, watched a movie, and CRASHED!
Sunday we went to church, DH went to work and I took the dogs for a walk, did some sewing, worked out, shoveled a path for the dogs in the backyard, and watched a couple movies. My brother came over to stay the night since he had to fly out early the next morning.

I wasn't online yesterday, so just catching up on posts now. I basically ate and drank my way through this weekend. Friday was DH's bday and we celebrated at the local beer garden. About 25 of our friends showed up and it was a great time.
Saturday, we went shopping for DH's present - I bought him a new office chair (romantic, I know), although I had already given him a Kindle. Saturday night we went to a great steak restaurant in NYC and pigged out on red meat and red wine.
On Sunday DH's best friend came over to hang out and watch pre-season baseball since he couldn't make it out on Friday. Sunday night MIL took us out for dinner at a Spanish restaurant in the city - paella, yummm. Great weekend!
