1. Best thing about your weekend? My college girlfriends were in town and my husband won a rather large sum of money while gambling in Reno which led to me getting a new MacBook Pro yesterday
2. Worst thing about your weekend? My husband was gone all weekend and my son decided that he'd like to wake up every 2 hours through the night on Thursday night
3. Best thing you ate over the weekend? Mmm...so much good food...I'd have to say sushi for lunch on Friday.
4. Did you watch the Oscars? Any thoughts? Yes...I thought James Franco looked drunk or high and he was terrible. Anne Hathaway was OK...not the greatest. Natalie Portman is the most gorgeous pregnant lady ever and I'm so happy she won.
1. Best thing about your weekend? Dinner and drinks with my brother, SIL, cousin and his wife. It had been TOO long since we all hung out, laughed, ate good food. It was really mello and nice.
2. Worst thing about your weekend? Finding an odd lump on the back of my head, which I'm going to get checked out this morning. It's freaking me out...it hurts from sleeping on it, I'm ready for some answers.
3. Best thing you ate over the weekend? Carne Asada Quesadilla and Q'Bole!
4. Did you watch the Oscars? Any thoughts? Yep, from beginning to end. Not a fan of the hosts, they did good but definitely not as good as some in the past. I hadn't seen any, and I mean ANY of the movies so I didn't have any faves...but all the winners seemed deserving.
1. Best thing about your weekend? The weird walking tour we did in NYC on Saturday with Bil and Sil. We finally walked the Highline and saw a room full of dirt. In a Greenwich Village apartment. 280,000lbs of it. And we saw the Ghostbusters firehouse.
2. Worst thing about your weekend? Not leaving the couch yesterday. It was a gorgeous day and I was too tired to do anything.
3. Best thing you ate over the weekend? My Sil's birthday cake on Friday night.
4. Did you watch the Oscars? Any thoughts? I watched the first hour or so. I really wanted to love James Franco but he just didn't seem to have any charisma. I loved seeing the Red Carpet stuff though even though the interviews are painful. I ljust ove the dresses.

Spending time with family who threw me a surprise bday party. Well, it was just them but there were decorations and presents and cake. I felt loved
2. Worst thing about your weekend?
Hmm...we're puppy-sitting for friends, and the dog is not completely housebroken, came with a bacterial eye infection that will likely be passed to my dog, and is extremely needy and annoying. We have learned that we are 100% a one-dog household. Happy to have her for this week, but will be even happier to send her home.

I did! I thought Anne Hathaway did a great job hosting. She's so swell
There were a lot of beautiful dresses and some funny moments. I really wanted to be happy for Natalie Portman, but I can't stop myself from looking at her as a homewrecking ho. I hate that I'm so homewrecker-judgey. Especially since I love Brangelina... But the evidence that Natalie was shacking up with a taken man is even stronger than Brangelina. She obviously was quite knocked up before the girlfriend even had a clue her relationship was over. Not cool, Natalie. Not cool. And the Oscars made me want to see The King's Speech even more than I already did! Which is a lot! I'm so so glad Social Network didn't win for best picture. That was NOT a best picture contender, IMHO.
1. Best thing about your weekend? I finally got DH to take me out Saturday night for dinner and a movie. We saw True Grit which was pretty good, but I think DH enjoyed it more than me since he loves westerns.
2. Worst thing about your weekend? It was too short.
3. Best thing you ate over the weekend? I had a Habit burger for the first time which was pretty good. We made egg salad sandwiches for dinner last night that were also good.
4. Did you watch the Oscars? Any thoughts? I thought the Oscars were boring for the most part but Kirk Douglas and Melissa Leo definitely livened it up a bit. Those who were awarded were too predictable and I was hoping for some kind of surprise upset in one of the major categories. I am also jealous of Celine Dion and Penelope Cruz because they just had babies and their bodies already look great.
1. Best thing about this weekend: That I spent it in my PJs, watching whatever TV shows I wanted to watch, making a ton of progress on my niece's baby blanket. DH didn't whine or complain about my hogging the TV once, and it was a very pleasant time.
2. Worst thing about the weekend: Having to get dressed eventually.
3. Best thing I ate: We went to my parents' house to watch the Oscars, and my stepmom made a "Mexican" spread. I made an absolutely delicious taco salad with organic beef and black beans, with a mixture of sour cream and corn-chile salsa for "dressing." It was SO GOOD!
4. Did you watch the Oscars? Yes. I loved Melissa Leo and the clips from this year's "musicals." Other than that, lame!
1. Best thing about your weekend? The hubbys birthday was saturday and we had a little get to together and drank with some friends.

4. Did you watch the Oscars? Any thoughts? Nope, we lounged around watching movies instead.
1. Best thing about your weekend? Having a three day weekend (even though it was because of a furlough day) and finally getting to spend some quality time with DH.

3. Best thing you ate over the weekend? Homemade blueberry pancakes for breakfast Sunday morning.
4. Did you watch the Oscars? Any thoughts? I did not watch the Oscars. Haven't seen any of the films that were heavily nominated and don't really care for awards shows in general.1. Best thing about your weekend? going to a body pump class @ 8 am on Sat. morning
2. Worst thing about your weekend? that it was only 2 days.
3. Best thing you ate over the weekend? Homemade minestrone soup for last night's dinner.
4. Did you watch the Oscars? Any thoughts?bits and pieces. I am not an Oscar fan...honestly I think they are boring (as with all awards shows). They could easily get this award show over in an hour. TOPS. James Franco looked like he was stoned and Anne Hathaway annoys me. I heard a recap of Kirk Douglas and that sounded painful.1. Best thing about your weekend? It was pretty productive, yet fun. Got a lot of things done on Saturday and Sunday--including our yearly trip to Costco, which is always a blast (I think because we only go once a year and spend some time looking at everything and laughing). I also did a bunch of returns that needed to happen on Sunday morning at Container Store--since our plans for the baby's room have significantly changed.
2. Worst thing about your weekend? That it is over? And I didn't get it to be 3 days?
3. Best thing you ate over the weekend? We went to Anchor and Hope on Friday night. I had the most AMAZING Salmon tartare. It was to die for.
4. Did you watch the Oscars? Any thoughts? I watched bits and pieces. We had a dinner at my grandma's house in the middle. I was really happy for Natalie Portman and for King's Speech. I want to watch the foreign films as well.
2. Worst thing about your weekend? Registering for baby stuff. So overwhelming.
3. Best thing you ate over the weekend? Xiao Long Bao (shanghai soup dumplings) at dim sum on Sunday. They are scrumptious little pillows of yum!
4. Did you watch the Oscars? Any thoughts? I was only half watching and thought it was meh. I wasn't wowed by any of the outfits, though I thought Justin Timberlake looked very handsome in his tux (and he took his mom as his date! Aww!). I did choke up with the kids' choir from PS22 (I think they're from Long Island?) sang "Over The Rainbow". They were so cute!
