So I have found this great legit work from home site called elance.com. It's basically a site where a bunch of people post freelance jobs that they need doing in a variety of categories. You have to pay a monthly fee and depending on the level you pay, you get a certain amount of credits to submit proposals. When you find a job you are interested in you submit a proposal. It's very competitive with several companies from India who are willing to work for next to nothing and several established people who have made a lot of money already and probably stand out when they submit proposals, but I have already scored 2 jobs!
I found that bidding low at first got me these jobs and I plan to build up my reputation then hopefully increase my prices. I talked to DH and we plan to use the extra money I make doing this to pay off my student loans and then see if we can afford for me to work PT or even stay at home and just do this for extra cash. There are some jobs that are full-time positions so I'm thinking if I work my way up I could maybe even get a FT job through this.
Just thought some of you might like to check it out. Lauren for graphic design and Kellie, you or YH might find something on there that fits your skills!
