I thought the majority looked fantastic. There were very few disappointments. I wasn't excited by Natalie Portman or Reese Witherspoon, and they're usually 2 of my favorites, but overall great red carpet.

WTF was this?
Re: Oscars Fashion Police
My favorite was Jennifer Hudson. She looked awesome, and even though she had a boob shape issue and overactive shimmer on her body, her dress was AMAZING.
I second the Gwyneth Paltrow and Sandra Bullock loves.
I'm also going to give a shout out to Penelope Cruz because seriously, who looks like this 3 weeks after giving birth?!
I didn't like Cate Blanchett either, but Nicole Kidman's dress didn't bother me.
My worst was Michelle Williams- monochrome city
But I also really hated Scarlett Johansson's entire look
Stand up for something you believe in.
Loved Mila's dress.
I liked Cate's though too. She's quirky with her fashion. I can dig it. haha.
HATED Reese's hair. Wtf was that horse's mane going on?
Loved:
(LOVED) Camila
Hailee
Anne:
Mandy's dress (her hair was kind of a snoozefest)
Liked:
Hated:
Baywatch swimsuit made into a dress
Zuma Zoom
I liked Natalie Portman's dress, but hated the earrings..I thought they kind of ruined things.Similarly, I liked Amy Adam's dress but didn't understand why the green necklace on top was necessary..
I didn't like Cate Blanchett, Nicole Kidman, Jennifer Hudson or Hilary Swank. Oh..and WTF to Mark Ruffalo's wife.
I really liked Mila Kunis, Gwenyth Paltrow, Reese Witherspoon, Hailee Steinfeld and Anne Hathaway's blue gown
LOVED that dress.
I also forgot to include my favorite men:
RDJ's navy tux and white tie- gorg.
Colin Firth's bejewelled buttons were also fab.
Stand up for something you believe in.
I liked Jennifer Hudson, but good lord she needs a boob job.
Worsts for me were Reese Witherspoon (it looked like a JCPenney prom dress!), Marisa Tomei, and Scarlett Johanssen.
ETA: My best dressed man was Justin Timberlake. Noooooom.
Major props to Jennifer Hudson and Penelope Cruz for those bodies. I didn't love Penelope's dress, but her body looks amazing. Jennifer was having some boob issues, but other than that I loved it. Celine Dion also looked amazing. Girl had twins like 4 months ago.
Re: hair. Reese's pony screamed fake. Hated it. Mandy Moore's dress was lovely, but something about her hair color is bothering me. I love Michelle William's pixie cut. She's one of the only people who can really pull that look off. I wish she didn't look so miserable all of the time.
Hailee Steinfield is adorable. Also, loved Camilla's dress. I didn't get a good look at that on E!. Fabulous.
Stand up for something you believe in.
This is the first time I've watched the entire Oscars in a long time, so I can actually comment!
I definitely agree with Cate Blanchet, wtf was with the framed boobs?!
I hated Gwyneth, though, she was too monochromatic in both her dresses. Couldn't she at least wear a little lipstick or something? She was all tan/gold and black eyelashes. Anne Hathaway's last dress (the sparkly high neck one) with the unfortunately placed circles was just a bad idea- other than the circles and the unfortunate way it shined in the light it was ok.
Jennifer Hudson looked lovely, except for the extreme boobage and her makeup artist's screw-up- I hate it when people's faces don't match their neck/shoulders!
The girl from True Grit was adorable, I think she was my favorite. I also liked Anne Hathaway in that blue dress kind of near the end despite it's plastic-y shine. Also, I want Natalie Portman's dress for when I'm pregnant. I just feel bad for her, she looked pained and nauseous through all the interviews! And even though I'm not a huge Celine Dion fan, I think she looked beautiful.
From the little bit I watched, and the pics you all posted:
Dislikes:
I was not a fan of Reese's hair. Too much, and I didn't think it "went" with the dress.
Gwyneth's dress was amazing, but with her coloring the look was a little washed out. There were quite a few people who had the washed out look.
Nicole Kidman's dress.
Likes:
Loved Halle's dress, and thought Celine Dion looked AMAZING on the red carpet.
I thought Natalie Portman nailed it, but I'll have to go back and look at the earrings.
Unsure:
Cate Blanchett's dress; she is stunning, and I think she may have pulled this off, but other times I think not.
Sandra Bullock's dress, I just didn't like the boob area cut out thing. Anne Hathaway's red dress was much more stunning, IMO.

Ahah I was very much interested. I'm glad King's Speech won what they did. The award speeches were pretty good also. OMG i felt so bad for the suporting actresses because Kirk Douglas was just dragging that OUT. I really thought Hailee should have won that, I think she is going to go really far.
ETA woops... kirk douglas.... -_-;;;
I didn't watch any of the red carpet stuff. Sometimes when people were on stage DH and I would comment on the outfits, but I am really anything but the fashion police.
Congrats to both my TTC buddies, Amberley18 and sb2006 on their beautiful babies!
