Tree service quotes...
Has anyone had any trees cut and removed from their homes? We had a tree uproot and fall this weekend on our property and though it didn't fall on the house and/or anything else but other trees, it's HUGE--the base is probably 5 feet in diameter, and is about 100 feet tall, I guess.
I got a quote this morning of $650 to cut, $750 to cut and haul away. $350 if they only cut the crown and leave the bulk of the trunk. I thought this was high, but I've never had to do this before, so maybe its totally fair. What do you ladies think?
I'm in the Triad, but I don't think the price should vary too much in either the Triangle or CLT either. TIA!
