Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

ugh...overwhelmed!
I totally just started crying on the phone with DH when he said that his mom asked what we needed/wanted for the baby. Then he asked if we'd decided on a middle name and then proceeded to tell me that he hates my suggestion of Marie (which is my mom's, my grandma's and my middle name). That pretty much did me in.
I don't have time to think of anything else right now. With attempting to get materials ready for a substitute - which really means giving up all control of what goes on in my classroom, trying to get observations done for my grad. class - which is not easy to do when you keep having snow days, trying to keep up with the house work, needing to de-clutter my classroom because Open House is next weekend, and looking at the piles of clothes in my bedroom...I just had a break down.
I just spoke with my sub., and she'll be coming in on Wednesday morning to start going over some things. I have a double special so that'll give me some time to talk with her. I'd rather do it after school but it seems that I have something going on every day after school between meetings, class and weekly doctor appointments.
I feel guilty playing with R right now because there are 900 other things that I need to do. But...on the same note, he's such a breath of fresh air and he brightens my whole day with the things that he does and says - I need that time.

That sure does sound overwhelming!!
I think spending time playing with R is VERY important, so don't ever feel guilty about that!
And I think Marie would be a beautiful middle name. It sounds nice with her first name and it has meaning. What's DH's reasoning for shooting it down??
