I volunteered to make a good dinner tonight, so I need ideas. We are open to almost anything. We had pork steaks last night.

Tator tot casserole (I add in a can of mixed veggies, or serve them on the side): http://www.food.com/recipe/tater-tots-casserole-27117
Stove top chicken casserole(I leave out the sour cream-sub in milk- and sometimes top it with swiss cheese): http://www.kraftrecipes.com/recipes/stove-top-one-dish-chicken-57497.aspx
Ohh, one DH really loves is:
In a skillet, cook chicken breasts. Add your favorite BBQ sauce, some ranch seasoning (or dressing) and a little water to make a sauce and let simmer. Top each chicken breast with shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon and sliced green onions and cover to let the cheese melt.
I serve this with a green veggie and these potatoes(I dont always use garlic, and I use whatever herbs I have on hand) :http://www.howto-simplify.com/2010/07/hasselback-potatoes.html
If those dont sound good, I love checking out this site for ideas:
