Dude, the dogs are freaking off their rockers. All the time, not just today. You have no idea what you're getting into. lol. I'm seriously considering giving them benadryl.
H is going to watch them and keep them contained in the office or the bedroom during book club, but he doesn't get home until 6:20. They might be in doggie jail until then if they don't settle down.
Pumpkin doesn't succumb to Benadryl. It's like the spinach to her inner Popeye. No worries, I know my way with crazy/hyper dogs.
I've never given it to any of them before, but there's a first for everything!
We had to give it to her when we first moved here because of the different bugs in Florida and bites, her eyes were so red and she scratched 24/7.. it wasn't to try to calm her down! But the benadryl made absolutely no difference in her temperament. We finally switched from Frontline to Confortis and she hasn't had allergy/bug bite issues since then. I still think there was asbestos in our apartment...
However, you better believe I'll benadryl my future children should they be on a plane or something like that. Yeah, call child protective services now...
