what do you think?- oscar speech poll

just saw a poll on the local news about this...Opinion - which supporting actor's speech blub from last night do you think was worse?

Melissa Leo - dropping the f bomb

OR

Christian Bale -seemingly forgetting his wife's name

Honestly, i don't think either was really too bad....the f-bomb was kinda funny, and to me it looked like christian was just all jumbled up & caught in the moment...

What's your weigh in?   Ponder

Re: what do you think?- oscar speech poll

  • I think Christian was just emotional. He didn't forget his wife's name.

Melissa, well, that was just hilarious.

  • I didn't think either was that bad, really.

I thought the worst part of the night was James Franco in drag.  **blech**  LOL!

  • To me it seemed like Christian Bale got choked up when it came to thanking his wife, not that he forgot her name so I thought it was sweet. I missed the f bomb!

  • I found Melissa Leo's entire speech incredibly annoying.

I think Christian Bale was genuinely emotional. I think he had to stop himself from saying her name or he was going to lose it.

  • I missed both.. I saw Natalie Portman's this morning on the news.. She's sweet and I really like her.

This. Melissa Leo has been campaigning HARD for this Oscar...for her to act so stunned (which she did a horrible job of, btw) was laughable. I thought the F Bomb was completely lacking class and tasteless.
