I vacuum my tile and laminate floors weekly, but I don't actually mop them but maybe once a month...is that enough? I don't know.
What do you do?
Re: How often do you mop?
If you think they're clean enough, then they are.
I do mine once a week, sometimes twice. My house is so high traffic though I need to. There's a 100 other things you probably do more often than me though. It's all about what works/needs to be done in your household.
I mop probably 2-4 times per week and usually vacuum daily, but my 3 boys are crazy busy, eat everything they see, and our floor looks very dirty very quick (it's a high gloss laminate that shows EVERYTHING).
ETA: Don't worry about what everyone else does. If your floors feel clean enough, then I'm sure they're fine. I'm just very anal and feel like they're not clean with all of the smudges (even though they're normally a lot cleaner than they look normally).
2-4x/week.
We do have 2 dogs and a 6 month old who we're encouraging to crawl!
Im new to the nest, im usually over at the knot posting away- but I cant believe there is a "cleaning" board here. as a neat freak- its like a little TREAT of a board.
I sweep usually every other night....in the kitchen and the bathroom (our bathroom for some reason gets a lot of hair/dirt etc cuz' its right off the entry)
I mop usually once every other week, or every three weeks or as needed. It need it in the bathroom more rfrequently because our tile shows a lot of water spots...but I'm a big time "wipe it up with a lysol wipe" rather than mop person..
