Were they as painful to watch for anyone else? DH kept flipping the station and I just fell asleep. I thought Anne looked awesome (aside from that last dress) otherwise it was an uncomfortable snoozefest.

I only watched the very end. I was really happy that The King's Speech won best actor and film. I thought that movie was phenomenal.

We were in the car while they were on but I came home and watched it on the DVR. The nice thing with that is that I got to skip all the documentary awards and most of the songs. I shaved off over a half an hour that way.I was still up way past my bedtime though.

I love the Oscars and while I like Anne Hathaway, I was not impressed with her or James Franco. She just giggled through the show and all he did was stand their stiffly and squint his eyes. I was pretty happy with the winners. I was glad that "Inception" won a lot of the effects awards, and that "The Social Network" got best score and screenplay. I really liked it and the "Kings Speech" so it was a toss up for Best Picture for me but I am happy that Colin Firth won. He was amazing!

I still haven't seen most of the films that were nominated for best picture. Once they all come out as rentals, L and I are going to have a weekend best film marathon. Is "The Social Network" really a worthy film? And "Winter's Bone"??

I thought the opening scene was great and I thought the montage of Best Film noms was pretty awesome. I thought the hosts were just awkward although I loved all of Anne's dresses. I think she is beautiful.

I LOVED "The Social Network"! I know some people who did not care for it and others who also loved it. "Winters Bone" is good, but slow and not a lot of dialog or action. The girl in it, Jennifer Lawrence was really good though.

I just wanted to know the winners and was hoping there would be some funny moments. I did love where they took some dialog from the nominated movies and auto tuned it. "The Social Network" one had me cracking up. I also loved seeing Jude Law and Robert Downey Jr. together.

That one was probably my least favorite, but I still think she looked beautiful in almost everything! I LOVED the red dress!

I thought they were pretty boring last night. I like AH, but last night she was just trying too hard. And poor James Franco was probably thinking about his nomination all night rather than being there for hosting.

I hated AH's blueberry fruit rollup dress. And the last lace one. But I loved the other ones she wore.

I still haven't seen most of the movies, The Social Network is waiting for us at home to watch. I'll have to put some of the others on my netflix queue for when they come out on DVD

We didn't watch. I was buried in homework and Drew doesn't really like awards shows. I've been trying to catch up on the fashion though, that's the part I really like. So far, Natalie Portman is my favorite!
