Who has one (or more)?
If you have one, what are they of and where are they?
When did you get your tattoo, and is there reasoning behind it?
If you dont have one...have you been contemplating it?
What do you think about people who have tattoos?

I have one. It's on my lower back (a "tramp stamp"), and it's a simple Celtic knot. There's not really any meaning behind it, and while I don't regret having the tattoo at all, I do wish that I'd taken more time to decide on something that I really liked and that has some kind of meaning.
I will say that for me, I got the tattoo because it was something that no one would've expected me to do. It was about a year after xFI broke up with me, and I felt like I needed to do something that was just for me...that it didn't matter what other people thought or whether other people would like it. So it sort of does mark a certain time in my life, although the design doesn't mean anything.
I have considered getting another one, but I have no clue what I'd want or where I'd put it.

Im thinking about getting one, and like you said the extreme is what turns me off about them. I would like to get one when I finish researching my irish heritage, Im just a little nervous about it bc it is so permanent (well not really anymore, but YKWIM right?).
