Who did you think looked gorgeous?
Did you like the hosts?
I thought Mila Kunis looked amazing--yes there was a lot of boobage, but the color was gorgeous and I thought she was stunning with every detail.
Everyone is putting Reese Witherspoon on the best dressed list, and I thought her dress was BORING and dated. GAG.
Cate Blanchett was one of my absolute favorites in that Givenchy dress. She was perfect for that dress!
I didn't care for the hosts. Anne Hathaway annoyed the crap out of me.
Re: Awards show dresses
I never watch much of the Oscars. Too much back-patting for me.
However, Mila Kunis's dress was absolutely stunning. Appropriate, for both her age and coloring, flattering, and ethereal. I loved her hair with it, too.
And JT didn't look too bad standing next to her lol.
I want to bang Mila Kunis. HOT.
I loved Cate Blanchett as well, even if it was different.
Amy Adams looked great, emerald necklace over blue sequins and all.
I have always been in love with Mila Kunis but my crush is at epic levels now. She has looked gorgeous all awards season. Mama mia!
I actually really liked Michelle Williams' dress as well although it is getting slammed.
I am sick of Nicole Kidman's same ole, same ole look and you can always tell when Halle Berry is single because she always rolls in looking naked. Yuck for both.
As far as Anne and James - ew. It was sooo awkward. And he looked stoned. Did he seem stoned?
Natalie Portman was probably my favorite. I thought she looked stunning.
And I thought Anne Hathaway looked amazing in several of her gowns also, and I feel bad for her. Everyone is calling her performance manic. I think she deserves props for at least trying, which is more than James Franco did.
I did like Halle Berry's dress though. And Jennifer Hudson looked great too. Oh, and even though I don't like her much, Hilary Swank's dress was nice. Not totally original, but pretty nevertheless.
I hated Nicole Kidman's dress, but I want her necklace. Gorgeous.
my bookshelf!
Bloggy
I never like these things (award shows) and to be honest I only looked up pictures after I saw this post.
I thought Mila was nice, not gorgeous but she looked nice. I love Michelle Williams hair and her dress was okay. Halle Berry and Gwyneth Paltrow were absolutely gorgeous.
Other than that it was a *blah* sort of event.
Loved Mila [and Justin, naturally]. I loved Reese's look, too, but I'm not sure it deserved to be on Best Dressed lists. Definitely a classic - which is probably why I liked it - but nothing fancy. I thought Natalie Portman looked great, too.
Jennifer Hudson looked stunning, but I'm with stripes - what was up with her boobs?
Some of Anne's dresses were super cute...a couple of others, I didn't really like. She seems a little spazzy by nature, and I felt her Oscars hosting was a little spazzy...but I like her, so I didn't mind too much. James Franco, however, should've had some Red Bull [or laid off the weed] before the show. I thought he'd do awesome, but I was disappointed.
