So I have mine scheduled for Tuesday...obviously I decided to google it and freak myself out. So ummmm the website I was reading said that some places give you an enema before the procedure to make sure nothing in your colon will block their view....did anyone have to do that?
That's the first time I've heard mention of this.

Re: HSG
Well, I will answer you even though you didn't mean to post here. :-)
I've never heard of anyone having to get an enema. Don't worry. The pain/discomfort can range from mildly uncomfortable to very painful. The good news is the worse part only lasts like 5 minutes & it really is worth it to make sure everything looks clear.
Are you seeing an RE? Where?
Good luck!
I had one a few years ago ( not TTC related )
other than my bladder being beyond full - it wasn't bad at all - but when all the fluid comes rushing out, its kind of awkward.
eta - good luck !
