Would you go to your Dr?

So I've been working out for the last month or so.... lately my right foot has been getting tingely/numb halfway through. DH is pretty sure this is somehow connected to a lower back/nerve problem, and wants me to see a dr. I'm not 100% sure...

any thoughts?

Re: Would you go to your Dr?

  • It def. seems like it would be a nerve problem. If it were me, I would mention it at my next appt. unless it was really causing me a big problem, then I would call...
  • is it when you are running or on the elliptical?  try a different shoe or loosen the laces.  that happens to me when i wear a pair of nike's i have but not in my asics.

  • Its actually normal.  The same thing happens to me (not that I'm normal...hehe) but I've researched it and asked an ortho doc at work about it.  It has to do with bloodflow in your foot when you step. Are you talking mainly when doing cardio on an elliptical or bike or treadmill? if so...its normal, and not related to your back.
