Do you guys watch? Are you planning to this year?

When I was little, my mom would make a big deal out of it every year. We'd have a picnic in the living room and sometimes we would dress up in "glamorous" costumes from her costume closet at school (she's a drama teacher.)

I'm thinking about doing the picnic thing with H this year. I've missed the Oscars the last few years so I feel like I need to make up for lost time.

I love watching the Oscars. I don't think I've watched for several years. I may have watched some of it last year but I don't remember. I plan to watch this year, since Nate will be in bed, and Rodgers will be at work. Dressing up in glamorous costumes sounds fun.

I used to watch every year, but stopped after Life is Beautiful didn't win Best Picture and/or Best Director and I was pissed.

I have to watch this year because of this invitation E & I got.

I watch the red carpet and usually do a few check ins during the show, I have a hard time with award shows now, there's so many unnecessary things I get bored.

I want to watch it. DH's sister and nieces move in Sunday so we'll see how effective watching it with 2 little one's is. Maybe we can convince DH to watch the girls so SIL and I can watch it, lol!
